How often should the “Quieting Response Exercise” be practiced and how long does it generally take to feel the effects? Will this be the key to easing my nervous system? Lately I feel very tense and my hands are very cold when I am even slightly amped up. Thanks in advance for your response.
You should start with 21 days in a row then integrate it into your life in a developmental manner. I also suggest that you learn to differentiate "good" stress from "bad" stress when your hands are cold. There are many variables regarding "easing" the activity of the nervous system. This is one.
